What is the House?

A not-for-profit community-focused facility, the House provides an affordable venue for community groups to meet and for other community-orientated organisations to offer services to the  local community. This includes a wide range of activities not previously offered to the local community including: health and wellbeing activities; support groups; community meetings and seminars; exhibitions and displays.

How does the House operate?

The day-to-day operation of the House is overseen by a Management Committee, all of whom are volunteers.

Volunteers are constantly sought for a wide range of activities at the House. Volunteers will be given the necessary training and mentoring to help them perform their assigned roles and duties.

The Peregian Beach Community House is funded in part by grants and venue hire as well as the occasional fundraising.
