PLEASE NOTE THIS IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The Peregian Beach Community House is playing its part in keeping Noosa COVID Free.

We adhere to, and maintain, the public Health rules to keep us all safe:

• Physical distancing
• Hand Hygiene
• Respiratory Hygiene 
• Frequent environmental cleaning and disinfection 

List of strict COVID-19 HEALTH GUIDELINES will need to be adhered to if you are wanting to hire the space.

• Each hirer is responsible for their participants, not the PBCH Management committee.
• Each hire must provide their own sanitisers for each of their classes and for the participants.
• It is the responsibility for each hirer to make sure all participants must sanitise before entering a class and after.
• If using chairs or equipment each hirer is responsible for cleaning and sanitising all equipment before they leave.
• Each hirer would need to get each participant to write their name, address and phone number down along with the date and time they were in the PBCH. A copy is to be given to PBCH in case of an outbreak and placed through the PBCH office door letterbox on leaving the venue.
• If using the Kitchen each hire will need to make sure the kitchen benches are sanitised after use.
• There would also need to be the correct social distancing during classes of 1.5 metres
• Mask are required to be worn in all indoor settings.
• Each hire must ensure that each participants signs in on the Queensland Government QR Code displayed in Peregian Beach Community House Foyer.
• QLD Regulations as of 17th December now state that:        

"Private hire of venues for meeting or workshops , if a person who is not fully vaccinated is in attendance, the  following COVID-19 density limit applies - This means a maximum of 20 people or 1 per 4 square metres,  whichever is less".

INSURANCE 

Regular Hirers

The PBCH requires all regular hirers to have their own public liability insurance to $20,000,000. A copy of your Certificate of Currency is required prior to your first booking.

Casual One Off Events

Casual Hirers are further defined as third parties who hire PBCH facilities for no more than a total of ten (10) days over a twelve (12) month period. The PBCH recommends that all casual one off hirers take out their own public liability insurance for their event. Casual hirers are not covered under the PBCH public liability policy. The PBCH is not responsible for insuring one off events that are not PBCH run events. The PBCH reserves the right to refuse any one off events that do not have their own insurance cover.

Small Groups Public Liability Coverage:

Small groups are defined as regular not for profit groups with 20 members or less undertaking low risk activities, classes, workshops etc.at the PBCH. For Hirers meeting the definition of a low risk small NFP group, the PBCH has coverage in place which may be suitable and is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Policy

A range of spaces are available to the local community and visitors at minimal cost.

Peregian Beach Community House is the perfect venue for:

Health and well being classes and activities; support groups; community meetings; special interest meetings; seminars and workshops; exhibitions and displays and other activities.

The House offers a Hall, enclosed deck  and outdoor areas for casual or long-term regular hire, along with ample off street parking. Spaces available for hire include:

• Multi-function Space 
• Undercover Deck
• Kitchen
• Fenced Garden

Included in your hire are:

• male & female toilets
• baby change room facilities
• disabled toilet facilities
• full equipped kitchen with utensils (non commercial cooking area)

PEREGIAN BEACH COMMUNITY HOUSE FLOOR PLAN

Peregian Beach Community House does not hire for private functions (parties, weddings etc.), due to the high costs associated with insurance.
